Our Veterinarians:

Denise Mulry, DVM (Owner/Founder)
Dr. Mulry has been a practicing veterinarian for over 17 years. She built and opened Healing Paws Veterinary Care in 2012, fulfilling her life-long dream of owning her own animal hospital, ensuring she would be able to practice with the quality and compassion she has always believed in. Dr. Mulry received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 1996 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 2000. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA), the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). Her strongest interests are in behavior, pain management and anesthesia.

Dr. Mulry lives with her wonderful and supportive husband, Troy and their two dogs, Betty and Vinny. She spends her free time lifting weights, doing yoga, reading, cooking, and walking with her dogs.

 

 

Practice Manager:

Stephanie Mulry, CVT
Stephanie began work in the veterinary field in 2005, following in Dr. Mulry’s footsteps (her sister!), pursuing a career working with animals. She received an associates degree from Bergen Community College in 2004 and she earned her certification as a veterinary technician after passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2007. In 2009 she became the Head Technician at a large, multi-doctor veterinary hospital, which incorporated many managerial responsibilities. She is a member of the New Jersey Veterinary Technicians and Assistants (NJVTA). She has always had a passion for animal advocacy. Quality nursing care and patient comfort are among her top priorities.

Stephanie lives with her husband John and their son Simon.  They also share their life with their dog Macintosh, and cat Zilly.  She enjoys hiking with her dogs, sewing and reading.

Veterinary Nurses:

Kelly Briscoe, CVT, Head technician

Kelly has been working in the veterinary field since 2009. She studied Veterinary Technology at Bergen Community College and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2010. She is a member of the NJVTA.

Kelly enjoys reading and spending time with her pets. She lives in West Milford with her husband Tommy, her cat Fernando and their two rescue pups, Lily and Phil.

 

Nicole Greco, CVT, Veterinary Technician
Nicole started working in the veterinary field in 2013 and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. Nicole has two beloved dogs Kitsune, a Shiba Inu; and Accalia, a Husky. In her free time Nicole enjoys traveling and trying different restaurants. Nicole is a member of the NJVTA and AAHA.

 

 

Dani Schulman, Veterinary Assistant 

Dani started working in the animal field in 2015.  She has spent the majority of her career in animal rescue and decided to take her passion over to veterinary medicine.  Dani is vegan and dedicates her life to being an advocate for all animals.  In her free time, Dani enjoys spending time with her dog Tobee, and her three rescued cats, Kodak, Cayden, and Georgie.
