Denise Mulry
DVM (Owner/Founder)
Dr. Mulry has been a practicing veterinarian for over 24 years. After many years as an associate veterinarian, she became determined to fulfill her life-long dream of owning her own animal hospital, ensuring she would be able to practice with the quality and compassion she has always believed in. In October 2012, that dream was realized and Healing Paws Veterinary Care was born.
Dr. Mulry received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 1996 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 2000. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA), the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). Her strongest interests are in behavior, pain management and anesthesia. In 2017, Dr. Mulry became certified as a Low Stress Handling practitioner through the program created by the renowned Dr. Sophia Yin.
Dr. Mulry lives with her wonderful and supportive husband, Troy and their two dogs, Betty and Vinny. She spends her free time strength training, reading, walking with her dogs, just being outdoors as often as possible.
Kelly Briscoe
CVT, Head technician
Kelly has been working in the veterinary field since 2009. She studied Veterinary Technology at Bergen Community College and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2010. She is a member of the NJVTA.
Kelly enjoys running and spending time with her pets. She lives in Sparta with her husband Tommy, her cat Fernando and their two rescue pups, Lily and Phil and her brood of backyard chickens.
Nicole Greco
CVT, Veterinary Technician
Nicole started working in the veterinary field in 2013 and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. Nicole has two beloved dogs Kitsune, a Shiba Inu; and Accalia, a Husky. In her free time Nicole enjoys traveling and trying different restaurants. Nicole is a member of the NJVTA and AAHA.
Skyler Russo-Wilson
Veterinary Assistant
Skyler started working at Healing Paws her junior year of college to gain experience for application to vet school. During her time here she realized her true passion is the nursing care of animals and is now xcited to pursue her journey for certification as a veterinary technician.
Skyler shares her home with her senior dog (Shaggy), her cats (Figaro, Kiara, and Binx), and a rabbit named Ziggy Stardust. She loves to read and is a Disney fanatic.
Jezmarie Quiles
Veterinary Technician
Jezmarie her degree in veterinary technology in 2023 from Bergen Community College, and has been working in the veterinary field since. She is currently pursuing certification as a veterinary technician.
Jez enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the gym, and trying new places. She especially loves doting on her dog, Xena.
Nichelle Ryan
Veterinary Assistant
Nichelle has been working in the veterinary industry for about 3 years and is currently studying as a Pre-Veterinary undergraduate. She aspires to be a veterinarian and own her own animal rescue.
In her free time, Nichelle enjoys being out in nature and hiking. When she’s not in nature, she practices tattooing and piercings.
Isabella Rosario
Veterinary Assistant
Isabella has always wanted to be a veterinarian, so she joined Healing Paws as a volunteer. She is now employed with us as she finishes high school and pursues her dream to become a vet. Isabella loves spending time with her dogs, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends.
Corinne Weinzierl
Veterinary Reception
Corinne joined our team in 2023, after spending many years in an emergency hospital setting. She enjoys the change of pace as our front desk leader, chatting with clients about their pets.
Corinne has two cats, Leonard and Lincoln. In her free time, she volunteers with Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization involved in restoration of historical sites. She also enjoys horseback riding.
